They did it! Our friends at Really B2B celebrate three wins at the B2B Marketing Awards.

B2B Marketing invited MarketMakers along to an evening full of fun, sparkles and lindy hopping at The HAC in London for the B2B Marketing Awards on Thursday 24th November 2017. This annual event welcomed hundreds of fellow marketers for the biggest B2B awards event in Europe.


We were delighted to find out earlier this year that Really B2B had been shortlisted for awards in the following six categories; ‘Best Corporate Decision-Maker Campaign’, ‘Best Use of Direct Mail’, ‘Best Product Launch Campaign’, ‘Best Lead Generation Campaign’ and for the third year running, ‘Best SME-Targeted Campaign’ and ‘B2B Agency of the Year’.  What a fabulous end to 2016 for Really B2B and MarketMakers as we bagged three amazing awards, and were highly commended in a further category.

The 12th annual B2B Marketing Awards was a beautiful event from start to finish. The event brings together marketers and businesses alike to celebrate the amazing talent achieved within the B2B marketing industry. We were greeted with a champagne reception followed by a three course meal before the awards ceremony began. Sara Pascoe, an up and coming comedian kicked off the awards with some delightful entertainment, before presenting the awards.


The winner of the ‘best SME-targeted campaign’ for 2016 was for the Schnabl ‘No Brainer’ campaign by our very own Really B2B, making them winners for the third year running! The campaign was aimed at convincing electricians to switch to Schnabl fixing products and was created for the leading manufacturer of screw less fastening systems for electrical installation.

The Really B2B ‘Standard’ campaign for Citroen Contract Motoring was awarded ‘best corporate decision-maker-targeted campaign’. The aim of the campaign was to increase van sales for Citroen Contract Motoring, the lead specialists in business vehicle funding. Since launching, the campaign has delivered 28 BANT qualified sales appointments and over £14 million of pipeline. Also- with the Citroen Contract Motoring campaign, we were awarded highly commended in the ‘best lead generation or nurturing campaign’.

Once again with the Schnabl campaign ‘No Brainer’, we were announced winners of the ‘best product launch campaign’, making Really B2B the most-awarded agency of the whole night.


What a night! The last 12 years for MarketMakers and 10 years for Really B2B, we have achieved amazing results for ourselves and our clients which is shown through these awards. We are proud to be part of an award winning team of which is nationally recognised for its achievements.
