The Learning and Performance Institute
The MarketMakers Business School was developed by MarketMakers to provide staff with the opportunity for continuous learning through tailored training. Recognising that ongoing growth and the development of new and existing skills was key to staff motivation, fulfilment and value. MarketMakers designed the school to deliver training for the entire business from Account Executives to Senior Managers.
Offering a full programme of interactive and stimulating ‘power sessions’ which explore areas from sales techniques to leadership skills, MarketMakers have found a formula for training which keeps staff engaged, excited and passionate about their roles and future with the business.
Since setting up the Business School, MarketMakers have seen their staff retention improve to a record 89%. Comparing these figures to the call centre average of 66%, Market Makers are convinced their continued focus on staff development is a major factor.
“To win in a category, which not only was the one that had the most submissions, but also included brands that invest millions in their staff training, is incredible. This award is testament to how passionate we are as a business in ensuring everybody is empowered to be constantly working on their personal development”
