MarketMakers is named 34th Best Workplace in the UK
Following a glamorous event at The Brewery in London on May 20th, MarketMakers has been awarded the title of 34th Best Workplace in the UK.
Every year, the Great Place to Work® Institute surveys 6,000 organisations around the world representing around 10 million employees. The result is an unrivalled insight into what organisations across all sectors and cultures do to create engaged workforces and the issues and challenges they face along the way.
To recognise the companies that embody the Great Place to Work® methodology, the Best Workplaces Programme was created. As the largest of its kind in the world, this survey listens to both employees and management to get a holistic view of the organisations’ HR policies and practices and how these are perceived by employees.

Great Place to Work ®
To help rank MarketMakers in the Best Workplaces Programme, the Great Place to Work® Institute utilised two key tools. The first was the Culture Audit© which examines how management creates trust and engagement in the workplace through various policies, practices and initiatives. The second was the Trust Index© Survey which measures the employee’s perspective of how effective those HR and management efforts have been.
As MarketMakers’ employees were able to provide direct input to the survey and their opinions determined the position of the business within the Best Workplace results, it appears that staff are happy and engaged within the current working environment.
This result is a great achievement for the Portsmouth-based telemarketing agency as not only is it now considered a Best Workplace, but the enthusiasm and talent of the employees has helped the business become the UK’s Number 1 Telemarketing Agency (as awarded by B2B Marketing).
